Cineon Training – Interview Simulation

Project Brief

After receiving funding by the Economic and Social Research Council we set about making some immersive experiences for use at a Virtual Reality seminar to which representatives from a number of industries were invited.

What We Did

We feel that immersive video and Virtual Reality will be a dominant medium for training, advertising and storytelling in the near future. This simulation makes use of spatial audio (i.e. you can follow sounds around) and is designed as a simulation for those wanting to gain interview experience. When the video was shown to the seminar audience – each wearing headphones and a Head Mounted Display utilising their own phone – they were asked to answer a number of questions about the film to test how engaged they had been.
